After years of struggling with smoking cessation and weight control — both personally and among her family and friends — Clinical Director Luciana Filippelli became determined to find something that truly worked.
Like so many people, they had tried different programs, only to end up on the same frustrating roller coaster of cravings, setbacks, and disappointment. Luciana, who had been an advocate of holistic and alternative wellness approaches since the early 1990s, knew there had to be another way.
That search led her to laser acupuncture — an approach many people had never heard of, but one that would change everything.
After just one laser acupuncture treatment, Luciana and those closest to her experienced what they had been searching for: fewer cravings, a renewed sense of control, and hope for a healthier future. After years of trying and failing, real success was finally possible.
That experience became the passion behind Luciana’s work and the driving force behind the growth of AcuLaser Treatment Centre.
Under Luciana’s leadership, AcuLaser has grown from a small smoking cessation program into one of Northeast Ohio’s most trusted holistic wellness centers. What was once a little-known option has become a respected program sought out by clients throughout Ohio and across the nation.
Today, AcuLaser Treatment Centre offers safe, comfortable, FDA-approved cold laser treatments for smoking and vaping cessation, weight health, stress management, sugar detoxification, and overall wellness support. The center has earned the trust of thousands of clients, the respect of hundreds of Ohio’s top physicians, and referrals from providers connected to leading medical facilities including Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Summa Health, and MetroHealth.
For Luciana, this work is personal — because she knows what it feels like to struggle, and she knows how powerful it is when people finally feel free.
Since 2005, AcuLaser Treatment Centre has helped Ohio smokers quit with confidence, offering FDA-approved cold, low-level laser treatments and a 90% success rate. What began as a powerful solution for smoking cessation quickly grew into something much more.

As our clients continued to experience life-changing results, our services naturally expanded. In 2006, we introduced our Weight Health Program, followed by Stress Management and Sugar Detoxification programs in 2014 after seeing just how powerful laser acupuncture could be for overall wellness.
